Meet Wags!
Wags is a sweet and handsome 3-year-old Staffy x Border Collie with a gentle nature, a playful personality, and plenty of love to give. This lovely boy is looking for a family who can help him continue to build his confidence while enjoying all the adventures that come with having a loyal canine companion by your side.
Wags is an easy dog to spend time with. He enjoys getting out and about for his daily walks, walks beautifully on lead, and is happy to take in the world at a relaxed pace. At home, he loves spending time with his people and has a fun, playful side that shines through once he feels comfortable. One of his favourite games is tug-of-war, and he's always keen to join in when it's time for some fun.
While Wags is a friendly boy, he can be a little unsure in new situations and gains a great deal of confidence from having another dog around. Because of this, he must go to a home with a canine companion. Wags would particularly enjoy a playful dog friend who enjoys games, companionship, and sharing in daily adventures. Having a confident, social dog by his side helps him feel secure and encourages him to show off more of his wonderful personality.
Wags would be best suited to a home with secondary school-aged children or older who can respect his space and help him settle into family life. In return, he'll offer loyal companionship, plenty of entertainment, and a loving presence that will quickly become part of the family.
With his sweet nature, playful spirit, and eagerness to form strong bonds, Wags has all the makings of a fantastic companion. He is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped, and is ready to find a forever home where he can continue to grow in confidence with a playful dog friend by his side.
If you're looking for a lovely dog to join your family and already have a friendly, playful canine companion at home, Wags would love to meet you!

In a first for Australian animal shelters, The Lost Dogs’ Home Adoption Ambassador Program will give animals a better chance at finding a forever home by allowing people to adopt directly from our specially trained foster carers. This will negate the need for animals to return to the shelter environment.
