Meet Miles!

Miles came to us as a surrender when his owners were moving to the city. As Miles is a livestock guardian breed, this type of living just wouldn't work for him as he is so used to farm living.

Miles would love to find another farm to live on where he can continue to roam in open spaces independently. He is used to having livestock to guard and protect and he takes his job very seriously! We would recommend he goes to a home with breed experience or at the least someone who is willing to study up, to ensure Miles is provided with everything he needs to thrive.

For any dog, shelter life can be hard, but especially for breeds like Miles who are not used to such close confinement. He is eager to find his new home where he can get back to doing what he loves- roaming around in open spaces, spending time with his chosen humans and enjoying his freedom.

Miles is a really sweet boy. He adores his daily walks and enjoys spending time with staff in recreation yards where he will enjoy lots of sniffing and exploration. He likes to sit by your side and enjoy a cuddle or two when he is feeling particularly relaxed or tired.

Miles can just see his new future- loads of space and people that adore him and are committed to loving him for his entire life.
