Hercules Morse is a big, charismatic dog with an even bigger heart, looking for a home that can keep up with his energy, his curiosity, and his love of adventure. He thrives in an environment with structure, routine, and plenty of physical activity, making him an ideal match for adopters who enjoy an active lifestyle and have a large, secure yard where he can run, explore, and unwind.
Hercules may be suitable to live with Adults who are 16+ , provided they are confident, respectful around dogs, and comfortable following guidance on safe interactions. He's a dog who appreciates calm, predictable handling and benefits from a household that understands how to give him space when he needs it and engagement when he's ready.
He may also be suitable to live with another dog, depending on the match. Hercules does best with slow, positive introductions to other dogs, allowing him time to observe and settle before interacting. With the right canine companion, he could enjoy parallel walks, shared yard time, and gentle socialisation. Although he enjoys the company of dogs, he will need to be in a cat/pocket pet free home!
He also benefits from gradual, positive introductions to new people and environments. Once he feels safe, his affectionate, goofy personality shines through, he's loyal, expressive, and eager to be part of the action.
With the right guidance, space, and understanding, Hercules Morse will be a deeply rewarding companion. He's ready for a home that can offer him patience, enrichment, and the chance to live life to the fullest.

In a first for Australian animal shelters, The Lost Dogs’ Home Adoption Ambassador Program will give animals a better chance at finding a forever home by allowing people to adopt directly from our specially trained foster carers. This will negate the need for animals to return to the shelter environment.
