Meet Coco!

This sweet, little lady has so much love to give, but is still learning how to open up with new people. Do you think you have the time and space to show this gorgeous gal what a loving home looks like?

When Coco first came into the shelter she was shut down and didn't have much trust when it came to new people. However, after only a brief while in shelter she is already showing more and more positive behaviours, but she just needs a little time and patience.

What she needs in a home is humans that understand that life is scary being this small, she would also benefit massively from a quieter home away from the hustle and bustle of life. The quieter the home the better, Coco can get a bit overstimulated so if there is a quiet place to tuck herself away in she will be a very happy girl.

Coco yearns for pats and loving so if you have the patience to let her personality come through, she may be the perfect companion for you!

Coco is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment. If you can open your heart and home to Coco- or if you're a rescue group able to help - please reach out to us at adoptions@dogshome.com.

The Adoption Ambassador Program

In a first for Australian animal shelters, The Lost Dogs’ Home Adoption Ambassador Program will give animals a better chance at finding a forever home by allowing people to adopt directly from our specially trained foster carers. This will negate the need for animals to return to the shelter environment.
