Meet Milo.
A beautiful boy, surrendered to us after six years in his home, Milo is struggling to understand why is here, and he isn't coping too well.
His stress levels are high, but he is trying his best to take each day as it comes. He is shy and nervous but with staff that he is familiar with, he warms up slowly and shows us he is curious and sweet, he is just scared to show it.
We feel that, in a home Milo will flourish. He just needs a safe space to show his beautiful sweet and affectionate side. It may be a slower journey for him to adjust, but with time he will absolutely get there. he just needs someone special to guide him on this journey.
Milo is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment. If you can open your heart and home to him - or if you're a rescue group able to help - please reach out to us at adoptions@dogshome.com
In a first for Australian animal shelters, The Lost Dogs’ Home Adoption Ambassador Program will give animals a better chance at finding a forever home by allowing people to adopt directly from our specially trained foster carers. This will negate the need for animals to return to the shelter environment.
