After raising her kittens, it's finally Maggie's turn to be someone's beloved companion.

Maggie came into our care as a pregnant stray and lovingly raised her four kittens, all of whom have now found their forever homes. Now this gentle young mum is patiently waiting for a family to choose her.

Shelter life has been a little overwhelming for Maggie, and she can be shy when meeting new people. However, her time in foster care showed just how rewarding she can be once she feels safe. With a little patience, she blossoms into a sweet companion who enjoys cheek scratches, gentle attention, and quietly spending time with her people. She also loves cardboard scratchers, window beds, and toys to keep her entertained.

Her foster carer shared:
"Maggie will take her time to open up but she's worth the wait. She likes to have places to hide until she feels safe. She is a beautiful, gentle girl who loves head butting your hand for attention. She doesn't like you to reach over her head but loves cheek scritches. She loves cardboard scratchers, window beds and toys! She has been an amazing mum but now she's ready to take centre stage and steal your heart."

Maggie has spent so much of her time caring for others, now it's her turn to be cared for. As our cats cannot be placed on hold, we encourage you to come and meet Maggie at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible. She deserves a loving home where she can finally be the one receiving all the love and attention.
