Rosie

Cranbourne

Cat • 3 years and 3 months

Meet Rosie!

Rosie is such a beautiful cat. She is sweet, sensitive, loving and we just want to protect her at all costs!

Rosie came to us with babies who were just a few days old. She was very nervous and underweight and had done her best to look after her babies on the streets, but she clearly needed some love and care. While her babies are in foster care, she is enjoying a well-deserved break and is ready to find a home where she can relax, off the streets in a warm and safe environment forever.

Rosie has been through quite a bit, so as you can imagine she is quite nervous and unsure. She still wants to trust people and is happy for some head and bum scratches. She clearly enjoys a gentle approach to this type of affection and will roll over on her back and smooch her head on you, showing us, she is so full of love and ready to find the perfect home she can live forever.

Rosie would do well in a quiet and calm home, especially while she settles into her new space. She may take a little while to settle in, and may want some cosy hiding spaces while she gains confidence to venture into other rooms and living spaces by herself.

Rosie is very ready to get out of here and into her new home!

The Adoption Ambassador Program

In a first for Australian animal shelters, The Lost Dogs’ Home Adoption Ambassador Program will give animals a better chance at finding a forever home by allowing people to adopt directly from our specially trained foster carers. This will negate the need for animals to return to the shelter environment.
